The principles of Stephen Covey’s book, “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” can be applied to virtually any setting and provide a framework for establishing and running a highly effective outsourcing strategy.

With an effective outsourcing strategy in place, the operating environment will be a natural extension of the companies who produced it. A robust and efficient relationship will arise if both parties enter the business with the purpose of creating a nice working environment. And that, above all else, will provide the value that they seek.

Covey’s principles can be implemented to create an effective outsourcing strategy that allows companies to optimize many operational functions (i.e., Accounts Payable, Order Processing, Customer Service, Information Technology, etc.) and guarantee higher productivity at a lower cost.
