About the Speaker:

Dan Day

Dan is an accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in Finance Transformation, Strategy and Analytics. As a Sr. Managing Director, Dan oversees the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement programs of Auxis’ Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) clients supported from its Nearshore Center in Costa Rica, including Finance & Accounting and Customer Service. 

As part of his role, Dan also advises CFOs and senior executives on deploying process automation, analytics, and shared services to modernize their Back Office Operations to scale and be better positioned to compete. In terms of industry experience, Dan has supported innovation programs in over 10 different sectors, and brings a deep expertise within the Retail, CPG and Financial Services space.  

Prior to joining Auxis, Dan held several leadership positions in the industry in enterprise organizations such as Office Depot in both Strategic & Operational roles. Dan holds an MBA with concentrations in Finance & Competitive Strategy from the Warrington School of Business at the University of Florida, and a Bachelor’s Degree with a Major in Accounting from the University of Dayton.

Eric brings more than 30 years of experience and a proven track record of success helping CFOs modernize and achieve peak performance in their back office to become more scalable, innovative and strategic oriented.

He joined Auxis in 2002 and serves as Senior Managing Director, overseeing all Finance Transformation, Process Automation and Business Process Outsourcing services at Auxis. His areas of expertise include financial operations performance, shared services strategy, organizational and operating model design, process automation (e.g. RPA), and systems integration. 

Eric led the establishment of Auxis’ nearshore business services center in Costa Rica in 2010, and launched the company’s Business Process Outsourcing practice that includes Finance & Accounting and Customer Service.

Heffernan has spent over 25 years in finance and operational roles driving innovation with companies such as GE, Paramount / Universal studios, IAWS and Anglo American.

Prior to Trintech, Heffernan served as the European Reporting and Treasury Manager at GE Money for its Equipment Finance business. Heffernan is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and sits on the Financial Executives International’s (FEI) Committee on Finance & IT (CFIT).
