Plantation, FL (April 19, 2011) - Auxis, Inc. (www.auxis.com), a leading South Florida management consulting firm, today announced that it has partnered with Project Performance Corporation (PPC), a global management consulting firm servicing the government and the Fortune 500, to perform Information Technology (IT) work for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The contract, Information Technology Solutions – Business Information Strategic Support (ITS-BISS II), was awarded to PPC in February 2011. ITS-BISS II replaces the EPA’s current ITS-BISS Contract. The new four-year contract is valued at $99.7 million.
Under the current ITS-BISS contract, Auxis Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategists and consultants have provided EA subject matter expertise and best practice perspectives to support the successful use of EA architecture at the agency. Auxis offers a unique blend of tools proficiency and industry best practices for developing EA programs and solution sets. Auxis has participated in and guided the requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment phases of the agency’s EA project. With the new ITS-BISS II contract, PPC and Auxis will have the opportunity to continue this work with the EPA.
Auxis’ Government Services practice, launched in 2009, has gained strong momentum as evidenced by recent project engagements with the EPA as well as the United States Patent and Trademark Office , the United States Department of Homeland Security, and the State of Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation.
“Auxis is pleased to continue our work with PPC on the EPA project,” said Nancy Wolff, Vice President of Government Services for Auxis. “The federal EA space is unique, and the Auxis team brings in-the-trenches experience to the table. The fact that companies like PPC continue to lean on Auxis’ expertise says that we must be doing something right for their federal government clients.”
