WASHINGTON, DC (October 26, 2010) - Auxis, Inc. (www.auxis.com), a management consulting and outsourcing firm that provides leading information technology outsourcing services, today announced that it has been awarded the General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 status.
Under GSA Schedule 70, Auxis may assist government agencies by providing information technology equipment, software and/or services. By selecting Auxis from GSA's list of pre-approved vendors, public sector organizations may substantially reduce their procurement costs by eliminating the need to solicit and evaluate multiple bids. Federal, state and local governments may now engage Auxis' services through a streamlined contracting process that includes pre-negotiated terms, conditions and prices.
Auxis' Government Services practice, launched in 2009, has gained strong momentum, as evidenced by current projects underway for the United States Environmental Protection Agency and Patent and Trademark Office as well as recent projects undertaken for the United States Department of Homeland Security and the Agency for Workforce Innovation in the State of Florida.
'For government agencies, the Auxis team hits the ground running with a list of successful government projects under our belts,' said Nancy Wolff, Director of Government Services for Auxis. 'Our hope is that agencies at all levels will continue to leverage our expertise to provide the best information tech-nology solutions with their unique circumstances in mind. Auxis is pleased to be a part of the GSA schedule contract process'.
