Operating Officer, Raul Vega discussed ways to increase employment opportunities in
Florida at Governor Crist's Hispanic Business Roundtable at the Capitol in Tallahassee on
October 13, 2009.
'It's critical that we develop Florida's economy with increased employment opportunities but
we also need to support the market growth by being more cost competitive with offshore
locations,' said Vega. 'The state can effectively accomplish this objective with investment
incentives.'
Governor Charlie Crist hosted the roundtable on how to help strengthen Florida's economy in
observation of Hispanic Heritage Month and Florida Small Business Month. Vega was
amongst several Florida Hispanic business leaders addressing the best ways to meet the
needs of Florida's Hispanic business community and promote business growth in the State.
The executives shared ideas on how the government can continue to provide an efficient and
business-friendly environment.
Vega has over 18 years of professional management and consulting experience, having
previously worked for Pepsi Cola Company International and Price Waterhouse. He has
significant field experience throughout the Americas and a strong record of achievement in
food and beverage, transportation and consumer products industries. He is a Certified Public
Accountant and graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a Masters Degree in
